Cleopantha is a Manchester born and raised Burlesque Artist of mixed heritage - Jamaican, English and Irish. She first hit the stage at the age of 6, competing nationwide in Disco Freestyle, Ballroom, Rock n' Roll and Latin Dance. It was from this early age that Cleopantha knew she was destined to perform on stage. For a decade, she competed across the country winning numerous awards, gaining an astonishing collection of 200+ trophies and medals. In her teenage years, she broadened her interest in dance and began classes in Street, African, Ballet and tap dance via Company Fierce Dance Academy, owned by international choreographer Darren Pritchard. At 16 she successfully gained a place at Pendleton College in Manchester, renown for it’s excellent performing arts department and previous place of study for the both actors Ben Kingsley and Christopher Eccleston. Cleopantha studied at Pendleton for two years and gained both an A Level and BTEC National Diploma in Dance. After receiving her qualifications, she successfully auditioned and gained a place at one of Europe’s leading Dance institutes, The Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) - The same institute of study for singer Paloma Faith. Cleopantha studied at NSCD for four years, graduating with a BPA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Dance and a Foundation Diploma in Contemporary Dance.

After graduating from NSCD, Cleopantha moved to London, the epicentre of creative arts. During her first few years in London, Cleopantha worked predominantly in the TV and media sector as an actress and assistant presenter. Some credits include 4music Last Fan Standing (2015), CBBC World’s End (2015) and BBC Ordinary Lies (2015).  She also modelled for well known brands such as VERY.CO.UK. After putting her modelling portfolio online, Cleopantha was scouted by the well-respected founder of The Cocoa Butter Club, Sadie Sinner. Cleopantha then began to explore the delights of cabaret and finally found an art form that spoke to her, the art of tease! Cleopantha fell in love with all things burlesque, and was offered her first TV Burlesque role as an exotic dancer on a Michael Jackson Biopic for Channel 5, Man In The Mirror (Broadcast in the UK and Europe from 2016). This was only the beginning of Cleopantha’s journey into rhinestones, feathers and glitter.

Having now worked in cabaret for over 8 years, Cleopantha has headlined several burlesque festivals across the globe as well as having worked with music artists such as Cardi B and Fat Man Scoop. She has also been in the burlesque top 50 2021 - 2023 and has been voted the Worlds Number 3 Most Influential Burlesque Artist 2022. To see all of Cleopantha accodlades, please click here.
